Storage & Security

Your metal.
Your Ownership. Our Reponsibility.

Secure, segregated, fully insured storage in Hong Kong and Dubai, with arrangements designed around security, transparency and access.

Storage is part of the investment decision

Buying physical precious metals is only part of the equation.

Once you own the metal, an equally important question is:

Where is it stored, who has access to it, and how can you verify it?

We believe storage should receive the same level of attention as the purchase itself.

Seaside offers secure storage options in Hong Kong and Dubai, including segregated arrangements for customers who want their holdings separately identifiable. In Hong Kong, Seaside-branded bars are stored with Loomis under allocated and segregated arrangements.

What does segregated storage mean?

Your metals are yours.

Segregated storage means that your precious metals are allocated to you and stored separately from other clients' holdings.

Your ownership is documented and your holdings remain identifiable.

This is different from pooled or unallocated arrangements, where customers have a contractual claim to metal rather than specific physical items.

The precise terms of your storage arrangement, including access, insurance and withdrawal procedures—will be explained before you proceed.

For Seaside-branded bars in Hong Kong, each order includes refinery documentation and an additional assay test. Production and sealed storage records, including a unique seal number, form part of the client inventory. Clients receive a monthly storage inventory with their storage ID.

Five layers of protection

01 — Segregated storage
Your holdings are allocated and separately identifiable.

02 — Secure facilities
Storage is provided through specialist vaulting facilities designed for the protection of high-value assets.

03 — Insurance
Insurance arrangements depend on the facility and your agreement. Holdings stored with Loomis under our Hong Kong arrangement are insured while in its facility.

04 — Physical access
Where provided for under your storage arrangement, customers can arrange visits and verification of their holdings. Visits to the Hong Kong vault are by prior appointment and may incur handling fees.

05 — Compliance & oversight
Customer identification, transaction procedures and relevant compliance requirements form part of our operating process.

Information security

Your personal and financial information requires the same level of care as your physical assets.

We maintain security measures designed to protect customer data and review our systems as technology and security risks evolve.

Our security expertise is supported by professionals with extensive experience in the field.

Legal, KYC & AML

As a regulated international business environment requires appropriate customer due diligence, Seaside operates customer identification and compliance procedures appropriate to our business and the jurisdictions in which we operate.

Before opening an account, customers will be required to provide appropriate identification and source-of-funds information where required.

Our legal and compliance processes are reviewed as necessary to reflect applicable requirements and best practice.
